Note to self: When "bathe dogs" is on your list (and you finally get around to it), at least list the dogs separately so when you've finished almost an hour of dog bathing and end up wetter than the now-clean dogs, at least you get to check two things off the list.
On a positive note, the BOC are very clean and they look and smell great... other than Suzie scratching all the fur off her body... the bath didn't solve that, but we've got an appointment with the vet on Friday and she's probably getting super drugs (steroids instead of benedryl) to get her through the next month of itchy-ness.
On another positive note, I've been using Sarah's suggestion of putting the baby gate up about 6 inches off the floor in the doorway, so Killian can roam and mingle with the dogs during the day and Maggie can't eat the cat poo. Thanks Jo!! I'm also dreaming about a permanent pet gate that looks nicer than my crappy $10 falling apart gate and mounts to the doorway... stay tuned, I might just get crazy enough to design and build one come February.
