A very good friend of mine, who happens to be my age, had a seizure while driving 2 1/2 years ago. Within a few days it was confirmed- he had a brain tumor, first thought to be inoperable. After months of testing and biopsies and specialists and drugs, he underwent open-head surgery. They were able to remove about 80% of the tumor, confirmed it was benign, and put him on chemo for the next year.
Since then, things have looked great: no more seizures, all the post-op MRI's (done quite regularly) showed the remaining tumor hadn't grown, things looked great, normal, healthy. Until today. Yesterday's MRI showed the tumor has grown 14% in the 4 months since his last MRI. Just thinking about it is making me sick to my stomach.
I'm asking all of you readers out there for prayers. For my friend, his wife, their daughter - that they would be at peace for whatever comes in the coming months. Pray for a miraculous healing.
