-the week is off to a good start, made it to Mass this morning. God is good!
-an awesome bike ride with my doggies on Fri evening... speaking of which, I need to buy new bike tires. The leak is getting worse and it barely stays inflated for a 20-minute ride. I think I'll buy the tires and beg my favorite bike mechanic to put them on for me.-getting a bunch of stuff done at home on Friday evening and Saturday all day, especially the outdoor chores to take advantage of the gorgeous day!
-farmers market pears, yummy! heck, farmer's markets are just cool, especially on a crisp fall morning.
-homemade pesto, yummy!
-the weather this weekend! upper 70's and sunny! Just gorgeous!
-I am almost done with my mom's birthday gift and did manage to organize dinner to celebrate
-I got to hang out with lots of my favorite kids this weekend--- I've been kid-starved the past couple weeks and don't handle it well. Got to see most of my local favorites and a couple out of town faves too. Life is good.
The bad:
-I am never, ever as productive as I want to be. Ever. Ever. Ever.
-I suck at balancing my life and am overscheduled. It's a perpetual problem. Learn to say no already woman!
-October is nearly half over and I'm not doing so well on my Oct goals
-the economy in Michigan
-the stock market, the stupid bail out package that I think is a scam.
-Obama, politics in general
-not fitting in, even in my own life
The ugly:
-Maggie still dashes downstairs to eat out of the litter box at every opportunity. Keep in mind it is a good three feet up, so she really has to work for a mouthful. and thankfully, I mounted a gate so it doesn't happen often, but any time I leave it open if I'm carrying laundry down or something, she heads right on down for a treat. Disgusting.
-Something in the refridgerator made a runny mess into the drawers and the whole thing needs a major cleaning. In the meantime, it grosses me out and makes my OCD self twitch every time I open it.
-my kitchen floor. it is truly truly truly ugly.
